The Sri Manjunatheswara Central School made a humble beginning in 2004, initiated by the vision of Dr. D Veerendra Heggadeji who struck a human chord with the people of Dharwad to start a School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) New Delhi.  Prof.N.Vajrakumar, Secretary, JSS, acted swiftly and a central school adopting CBSE syllabus came into being.

The JSS campus is set atop the Mailarlinga hill. Our School occupies a prime place among a host of  institutions in a sprawling campus of acres, amid green environs.  The wonderful atmosphere has ‘Education’ written all over it, and presents the best setting for ‘Learning’.
